Is it too late now at Fermyn for PE & WA ?

I have been aiming to photo Purple Emperors and White Admirals this year probably at Fermyn. Its a fair drive for me as I am based in North West England. However to date the weather has beaten me its been continious cloudy or rain more or less every day. Given the distance I need to be reasonable sure of weather before I commit to drive. However this week coming looks reasonable question is have I blown it again this year is it a little too late now and are the remaining ones not in good condition re the weather and coming to end of flight period.
