Wow Steve, that was awesome seeing that, nice to see the lifecycle like that
been trying to do that myself, but not got the whole lifecycle of a butterfly yet.

Thanks Dave, it was really good to see, I was pleased to catch it on camera. The kids were interested to see it as well, last year my daughter took some caterpillers into school to show as well which was nice.
I have a couple of Comma's that I hope to capture the same results of, I have this from egg this time though, although it was hard to capture the egg on my camera

The patience of some of UKB's members is amazing. Thanks for sharing these, Steve.

I'm a new member - just joined yesterday because I had to check out the butterflies I'd been seeing this week. Yesterday, out the back of my office in the centre of Aberdeen, there were up to six Peacocks feasting on a very shabby Buddleia. By the time I got the opportunity to try and capture them with my phone camera, it had got quite cool and there was only one. It too fluttered off before I could use the camera. They were most beautiful and despite my 50 years, I'd never seen one before. I love this forum and will keep coming back.
