Hi, I`m Roy and live in Sale Trafford. Yesterday I was in my back garden when I noticed what first seemed like a bumble bee but closer looking it was hovering near to the flowers like a humming bird but the size of a large bumble bee, darting from one flower to the next. The movement was so quick I couldnt quite catch the markings on the wings, but the body I think had bright orange marks ??

Can anyone throw any light as to what it was ?? I`ve never seen this around before,
