a little moth

these little red moths have appeared on the plants outside our front door:

Pyrausta aurata, a Pyralid (Micro) moth. Are you growing any mint species or other related plants in your garden? They are larval foodplants.

Thanks for that Mikhail... yes there is a mint plant & the moths spend a lot of their time on it
