Thanks for help on ones you tried to ID. The one you said is white shouldered house moth has similar marking as one, but when I see these ones (like on in photo) they are always that long thin shape and about a bit bigger and similar shape as the diamond back moth, not like white shouldered house moths I know of and the tail of that moth is not like white shouldered house moth as far as I know.

Here's my opinion:
1: agree
2: Gelechiidae
3: agree
4: agree that it is NOT the White Shouldered...
5: ???
6: probably agree
7: Stenoptilia sp. ?
8: agree

I would not try to mess with number two even if it were in pristine condition. :)

Number four is indeed something else, but I can't recall the family, let alone Genus.

Next!

Hi JKT, that number 2 I thought was a piece of wood that was laying about, but it was not that big of a moth, about a few cm at most. I agree now that 1 is square spot rustic and 3 is diamondback and looking at another faded green carpet image I had from another time, I agree that's one too. I am thinking 6 is small fan footed wave at looking at more photos.

A wild guess at #7 would be in the Pterophoridae (Stenoptilia pterodactyla).

I would have quessed that the length might be around 1 cm making the span under 2 cm. I just meant that Gelechiidae as a group are way beyond my capabilities to ID.

2. Agonopterix arenella,
4. Blastobasis adustella.
