Happy new year to all at UKB!!.
I wonder if any of you can pick out a highlight of this year and what you would like to see/do butterfly wise in the year to come.I think mine was a simple rare sunny day at a local patch photographing Green Hairstreaks.I have seen only common and holly blues so I hope to see more of those this year, heres hoping.
All the best Shaun

I would also like to wish all the UKB members a happy new year.
My resolution is to get out more, photograph more, and get "oop north" for Mountain Ringlet, Scotch Argus and Large Heath.
Cheers
Roger

Thanks and a happy new year to you all too :)

My resolution is to see a comma in the wild. I know they are found where I live, I just have not see one yet. Also to see at least one species of American butterfly and photograph it when I am in the USA in July.

Hope this year is better on Small Tortoiseshell than the last was.

A bit late.....
But I send my wishes to all UKB members also for the new year.
I can't also wait for the spring, I had a great New Years celebrations out in Germany and come only through the door ca. 20 mins earlier! I haven't spoken English in seven days, I came to my family at the airport, I spoke there German too! (its the English Grammar that I find here at the moment, when I speak fluent German, I can't speak fluent English well...)
or as I understand it!
einen guten Rutsch!
