I have just heard from Jan Miller in Wales that this weeks magazine includeas an article on gardening for butterflies. The writer Dominic Murphy did chat to me on the phone about what people could do in their gardens at this time of year. I have not seen it yet. Hopefully I will pop something onto gardening forum about things to do for butterfly gardening in autumn & winter in the hope that others will add their ideas too.

Incidentally Jan Miller is the person who is doing tremendous work with schools & parks & gardens depts to encourage butterfly friendly gardening. Her article appeared in Issue 99 of Butterfly Autumn 2008. It is very inspiring & well worth reading. Jan sells garden designs and plants, including loads of wild flowers.
