I'm afraid this is another butterfly I saw in South Korea at the end of September.

Thanks

Jacqueline :?

Hi Jacqueline - you're certainly keeping us on our toes :)

Yes - this is definitely a skipper - although I don't know the species.

Cheers,

- Pete

Apologies for the delay in replying.

Guy, I'm sure you are right with Pelopidas jansonis. Everything fits including the habits they favour in S. Korea. :D

Pete, you may say 'I keep you on your toes' but you know it's fun! But don't panic, I don't often travel to unknown territories and we don't have many species of butterflies in the Middle Eastern countries I visit regularly - so I'd better build up my moth collection - I know nothing about them.
