Poor things, what a horrible way to go. All part of nature though, I know.

Hi all,
out of interest, I wonder does anyone know whether certain wasps attack certain butterflys or is it a general whatevers about kind of thing.
Cheers Shaun.

Hi Shaun,

Yes, in a large number of cases, certain wasps attack certain butterflies. To the point that, in the case of the Holly Blue, the population of its parasitic wasp fluctuates in line with the fortunes of its host!

Cheers,

- Pete
