Hi Charles,

I would go for Spotted Fritillary, Purple Hairstreak and False Ilex Hairstreak?
Now someone will prove me wrong :P

Cheers

Ah- the pictures have arrived!

The last is an ilex hairstreak. It is worn and pale, which is why Denise went for false ilex, but all the visible features point to ilex. The jizz, which is what I mainly work on with these difficult species, is 100% ilex.

Were the others right?

Spot on! And I wouldn't swear to the ilex, without seeing it in the flesh. But I'm confident that is what it is. :D
