ID please

Post by Lesley »

Could someone please ID this for me, eyes nearly square browsing books and websites. Been round the block more than once, I think, the edges of the wings virtually transparent, ragged and lost a tail. Fortunately the colours came out better in the photo than to the naked eye. Would be grateful to be put out of my misery regards Lesley

Hi Lesley - do you have any higher-res images? These are way too small to really ID the critter! Thanks.

Initial guess is that this is a Peacock.

Cheers,

- Pete

I'm with you Pete. It's an absolutely knackered Peacock.
