Fluke.

There were about half-a-dozen Red Admirals on the buddleia. The wind was brisk and the flowers were continually moving. Getting the target in focus was almost pot luck. So I was operating the camera (Canon A650 exposure 1/320) in continuous mode (ie, taking a sequence of photos while the button was pressed).

The before and after shots were more or less the same, (after frame is shown) but the butterfly flapped while I had the button pressed during the sequence and his friend decided that he wanted to be in the picture as well.
