How about this Brown... & is it a very worn Meadow Brown, or something like a very worn Dusky MB??? :D

Mmm... It has potential for DMB but I can't see anything definitive. The narrow dark line on the forewing uns is missing (should be there in DMB) but it is so worn that can't be regarded as decisive.

This female shows the position of the dark line (inside the grey border). It is in the same place in the male, but all my pictures of males have the hindwing coming too far forward and covering it up.

Certainly not boring, but I'm afraid I can't be certain on this view!!
