Hi All,
Chris from Verwood in Dorset. (another fisherman). thought i would join and officiallly go green with envy at all the great photos on the site. intersts are Butterflies (obviously) moths, dragonflies, spiders, and wildlife in general really. I'm currently on my 2nd wildlife friendly garden though it is in the very early stages. I'm not a great poster on forums but with winter here (well it surely can't be summer out there) I thought i'd join in the fun.
here's hoping for some sun in the not to distant future
Chris

Chris
Welcome to the site.
It is a great resource - the information available here is extraordinary.
Whilst questions get answered pretty promptly, and with great authority, you wll have to wade through a lot of nonsense to get at the nub.
Some people here reckon they are funny - and want us all to know it!
Roger
p.s.
You live in a lovely part of the world.

thanks all,
Martin, I used to be West London, Greenford & Hayes. I used to work in Brentford a 10 minute walk from Syon Butterfly house and used to see all sorts of escapees flying along the railway embankment.

Hi Chris,
Welcome to the site. Everything you could possibly need is here! A great deal of butterfly knowledge spread around the country and several photographic experts if you need any guidance. If you are planning to visit just about anywhere and need some local knowledge, or help with 'I.D.s', then just ask, as there are always friendly people ready to help out. The best website of its type for sure! :D
