This Blue, a medium sized brown female, no upperside photo, is either ? chalkhill or adonis. no males, or others were seen & the shot was taken in the Pyrenean foothills close to the French Med. coast. What should I call it???

Spot the GP!! Only someone with proctologists as colleagues could come up with that name!!

I go for chalkhill. Apart from anything else, weren't you there pretty well exactly between broods for Adonis? I would have thought a fresh female in mid-July is chalkhill by default, though it's not impossible to see Adonis then. For the record, I didn't see any Adonis blues in the Val during that same period.
