Having some difficulty with the ID's for these Japanese Butterflies.....

1) The first White looks like a standard 'Large White' to me.
2) 2nd White I have no idea.....
3) The Brown i've had a 'flying stab at' : Mycalesis Francisca Perdiccas (Lilacine Bushbrown)

Any help greatly appreciated!

The second white would seem to be Artogeia melete. This picture, scrounged from a Japanese website, is almost identical to yours:

I suspect the first white is actually the same species - it seems to be quite variable. But I don't know and unfortunately I can't read a word on that website!

The brown is Mycalesis, and your guess looks very good, checking a few pictures on the web. I can't do better than you on that one!

I've attached another photo of a 'White' this time with it's wings partially open... Is this a small white?
