Holly Blue

Post by Denise »

Today I had a very fresh Holly Blue in the garden.
Could this be an early second brood? My first sighting this year was on April 3rd.

I'm off on my hols tomorrow with the family to Kos, but I will try to sneak off for a few hours to search for butterflies.
See you all on the 14th.

Cheers

Yes - definitely 2nd brood - and a good find.

Have a great holiday Denise - and make sure you check out all of the local wasteland, tips, disused farms, unkempt gardens etc. etc. while you're away :)

Cheers,

- Pete
