Caterpillar ID please

Found in old chalk pit with Common Blue and Brown Argus flying. About 5mm long. My first thought is early larval Common Blue...but no doubt I'm wrong.
Any help please?

Pretty sure that's not a butterfly...none of them in my book have all that "stuff" on thier backs.

Looks like a Chrysomelidae (leaf beetle) larva to me.

Thanks - Did on reflection look more like a beetle/ladybird larva...

Hmm, yeah. Caterpillars usually have short stubby legs, not longer ones like this has. Cool looking critter anyway
