Swallowtails At Strumpshaw

I visited Strumpshaw Fen, Norfolk on Sunday where the Swallowtails were putting on a great show - 15 seen in total, all in fine condition. Swallowtail hotspots were the meadow trail on the RSPB reserve (mostly in flight), the cottage garden at the end of Tinkers Lane (feeding voraciously) and a small uncultivated area just before the cottage where a Swallowtail would occasionally drop down on to greenery (for a quiet moment or spot of sunbathing!). 3 pics below. What a day!

Cheers - Alan

Beautifull photos Alan. I shall be there this weekend. I hope that the weather holds out.
Thanks for the info on the hot spots.

Cheers
