I am thinking of going to Dorset one weekend in June to see Marsh Fritillaries. When is the best time to go and where should I go?

Hi Ian,

I went in search of Marsh frits to the BC reserve at Lankham Bottom two summers ago, in the middle weekend of June, and was not disappointed.

I also saw skippers both Grizzled and Dingy on this extensive site, and Adonis Blue on the long path back to the village of Cattistock.

The reserve is featured on the "sites" section here.

Hope this is useful.
