Hi JJ,
Do post your pictures here when you catch something worth sharing. And don't be deterred if posts don't always get an immediate reply. I love seeing what is on the wing around the UK even though I don't always have comments to make!

hello to you. I am just enjoying reading Robert Thompson & Brian Nelson's book "The butterflies and moths of Northern Ireland". I do hope that you have it as it is jam packed with information and wonderful photos.
It is pretty expensive on Amazon now! but I got a copy for £25 +pp from

Hi, JJ
As another from N.I., I got The butterflies and moths of Northern Ireland book last year and its very good for sights for butterflies and moths.
Hope you enjoy your time here like I do and get to understand butterflies and moths better.
