My local patch

I would not like to say where this place is exactly as there has been people dumping here and its starting to turn a little bad in this area (lot of it is still nice). But one field I went into had a small pond/bog in it (field must have been about 3/4 acre). It was full of horsetails and cuckoo flowers, and loads of green-veined whites and orange tips. No pics of OT's. I did not watch where I was walking as I was coming up to an orange-Tip male and walked nearly knee deep in water!

counted up to 20+ speckled woods and a quite a number of the moth I got a pic of below

Anyway, here is a few shots I managed to get:

Area I was in:

GV Whites Mating: (saw several mating pairs today)

Moth (these seemed reluctant to sit still for too long) anyone know what it is?:

The moth has me puzzled, the nearest I can think of is Lead Belle but it does not look quite right.

Perfect OT and GVW habitat, Dave and nice pics... you seem to be getting the hang of your SLR now!

I'm fairly sure the moth is a Brown Silver-line. I've seen some myself recently too.
