Lovely pictures, Paul!
That's the great thing about one's local patch - you know exactly when each species emerges each year. It will be interesting to see how long it is before the first females fly.

Great to meet you today, Paul...
this is the best of the GH pics I took:
I then went on to Ellerburn and saw plenty of Dingy Skipper and a Small Copper
On the way back to the car (camera in bag) I saw a slow-worm and then very unexpectedly, another green hairstreak! Thats a first for me at EB.
