Quiet here.

Post by champ »

A single large white and a couple of small whites in the garden and a lone orange tip in the nursery was all i saw over the weekend. :( .Weather has been poor down here though.I live in Crewkerne (south somerset).Highlight for me is that the swifts are back.Always a pleasure.

Bit livelier here 40 miles or so to the north - today (around and about, not in the garden) there were Large, Small and Green-veined White, Orange-tip, Brimstone, Speckled Wood, Holly Blue, Peacock and Small Tortoiseshell.

The "missing" species is Comma - I have only seen one this year. Where are they all?
