Cuban Butterfly Pigmy Blue

Hi Just returned from a holiday in Cuba mainly looked for birds but found some butterflies too :D
Here's a Pigmy Blue . I could not believe how tiny he was much smaller than a Common Blue

What Latin name are you giving this butterfly? It looks very like the Californian Hemiargus ceraunus, of which there is a good picture here:

Thanks Guy I agree it does look like a Hemiargus ceraunus
I got the ID from a book a bird guide had in Cuba. I'm glad you posted the link as I forgot to write down the scientific name as we was driving round looking for birds at the time
