Migrants

Post by Denise »

I have noticed on uk-leps, a number of Large Tortoiseshell being seen in the last week as far apart as Dawlish Warren and Sussex, and this morning a belated record of 1. Camberwell Beauty - Rutland.

Perhaps we're in for a good year!

Wouldn't it be great if the LT manage to get a foothold back in the UK. Natural recolonization! Ok, may still have foreign ancestry, but wow, to have them back without human intervention would be wonderful. It only take two to meet up and breed and Bob could be your uncle.
