Hi all - I need some advice.
All of my digital cameras have a viewfinder, but none are protected
I was wondering what you'd recommend to prevent the viewfinder getting scratched. I have to admit, I've only just started looking into this
Cheers,
- Pete

My camera's viewfinder is substantially recessed and there's a rubber eyecup in front of it as well so I can't imagine how it might get scratched. The LCD display is rather more vulnerable, particularly because I wear glasses which could mark it, so I bought one of these:

It's very hard scratch resistant glass and just requires the occasional wipe to come up as good as new.

Pete,
I have one of the Delkin pop-ups. The pop-up shade comes off rather easily. I lost one and Delkin in the US sent me another FOC, but I lost that one too. Still that was only useful when trying to view the LCD in bright sunlight. The rest of the device still does a good job of protecting the LCD screen. I can show it you when we next meet, that is unless you've bought one by then.
