If you don't know your DIN from your ISO

I thought it would be nice to have a thread for those of us who enjoy taking pictures but do not have a clue about cameras
I'm proud to say " I don't know my DIN from my ISO ".... how about you ?
Also my equipment is rather modest
But I enjoy getting it out now that the weather is warmer

Good for you Charles!
Perhaps some of the more experienced photographers could shed some light on this subject for the benefit of us all.
If they sold a book (like the PC ones) called photography for dummy's, I'd be first in the que.
