It's good to hear some good news for a change.

I just wish it was possible to favour Biffa in some way. As far as I know they are in the refuse and recycling industry, so it's not like we could go out and buy thier product...

Just a thought (as if I didn't have enough to do :) ), but we could vote on organisations that we feel deserve a "UK Butterflies Award for Services to Butterfly Conservation". Even if this is just an email and recognition it is something that would allow them to blow their own trumpet which could be of use to them :)

Cheers,

Excellent idea :D

What about a link to a "Butterfly Friendly Companies" page?

Yep - I would put all winners on a page that they could link to. Let me think about this ... :)

Word of caution... had some inside info on a certain company selling land for sake of SSB's, plaudits from BC, - was only 'cos land was no longer useful to them! still - butterflies still won out :D
