Hi,

Spent a couple of hours on an eggspedition to Noar Hill this morning with Pat and Colin "Hawkeye" Baker. We (well Colin mostly) managed to find 9 Brown Hairstreak eggs. This brings to 14 the total that Colin has found up there. On a dull day with blustery winds photography was very difficult. But here's the best I managed.

I will have another try if we get a bright, calm day soon.

Thats as maybe Mike, but the hour or more that female Brown Hairstreak gave us the runaround was certainly my butterfly highlight of the year, and we never really lost sight of her,did we, until she vanished up high into those beech trees.

Cheers
