Taxonomy Update

Hi all,

Since I've received Adrian Riley's contribution - something has been preying on my mind. Specifically, the emphasis that should be placed on the different subspecies (and forms) that occur in the UK. I've therefore updated the website so that all subspecies are considered equal; the previous approach was treating one subspecies (or form) as more-relevant than another - clearly a mistake! This is particularly relevant for a species such as the Mountain Ringlet, where the 2 subspecies we have in the UK have equal prominence!

The result is an update to the Taxonomy page (where I now list the forms seen in the UK) and on the species pages (where all subspecies and forms are treated equally). Also - all aberrations are shown in relation to the species, subspecies or form to which they relate.

Anyway - this has been a major restructuring, but not noticeable to the average visitor, so I'll just log the change in this note! Creating this website has been quite an education!

Cheers,

- Pete
