Hi,
The "Hampshire" branch of UK Butterflies met in Winchester yesterday and the star of the event was Mike Young who grabbed a first prize (yes I know it was a second, but he was robbed) in the Silver class and walked away with a very nice Richard Lewington proof print.
Well done Mike,
Robin

Thank you Robin, I was delighted with my prize, there were some super images in the comp which were a pleasure to view.
As always with these events there was some contentious voting, but hey! thats the way it goes
I heard a lady sitting behind me comment when my mating Glanvilles was held up, " I didn't vote for that it was too precise"
Don't really know what she meant, maybe I should have asked
Any way I was too pleased to be bothered.
