To all you photographers out there ... ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
As most of you know, the UK Butterflies website is non-profit and, in fact, leaves me out of pocket each year. Although the sponsors help out big time!
Anyway - I was considering adding a "stock photo" feature, where visitors could formally get in touch with a photographer about using one of their photos (I've had several informal requests in the past). Not quite sure how this would work (e.g. with regard to payment, UK Butterflies gets 10% of any sales) - but I think that this might be another way of generating funds for the website. It would probably involve quite a lot of work to set up, but since autumn is on its way ...![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Any profit I make would go to Butterfly Conservation.
Thoughts?
Cheers,
- Pete
