Suffolk weather

A week in Suffolk and I've seen the sun just once - last Saturday. Persistent, black, drizzly cloud has been hanging over East Anglia ever since and I've seen barely a butterfly. On the plus side, I've never seen the county look so lush and green in August.
Another plus today: this wryneck was hanging around at Minsmere, presenting fantastic views for many. This is a distant shot with a point-and-click Canon - I didn't dare approach the bird in case it flew and someone killed me.
Vanessids, including painted lady, red admiral and peacock were visiting the Buddleia too, despite smatterings of rain.
