Thank you Rogerdodge for your comments.I used a Canon 350D with a Sigma 150mm lens and a 20mm kenko extension tube. Can I recommend you all download a prog called opanda exif http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/index.html

Its free and allows you to right click on an image and view the EXIF data for it.It works in most cases, and is a great bit of freeware.Download and instal it,then right click on my images above.Choose 'View EXIF' from the list and away you go!

Thanks Dave.

One thing that exif data won't give us - were you using a tripod? :)

Cheers,

I was using a tripod....sort of!I started off trying to set up all 3 legs...but there was too much in the way.So I resorted to using one of the legs monopod style for the shots.

Thats very good. Those colours look fab! Makes you look twice at the well known species we find "common and plain"

Peacocks may be "common", but "plain"? Surely not!
