Is this Common Blue please? From Darland Banks in Kent, last Friday;





I do try and ID 'em before I pester you lot (honest) but this one just seemed a bit 'funny' - stop me if I'm getting to technical

Yes, it's a very fresh male common blue. Although it seems to show half-chequering on the upperside this is not uncommon in fresh specimens - an adonis blue would show far more conspicuous chequering, which would also be visible on the underside.
