Peacocks are having a 'good' year locally ~ despite the local flooding and low temperatures in the Gloucester area at the present time. Seen several fine specimens in my rain sodden garden today. Next door's huge flowered Buddliea has been well attended too.

That example in your picture is already battle scarred. Shame ~ however it should survive the next nine or ten months if the weather allows it to build up it's winter reserves for those long cold days and nights ahead.
