My first ever Silver Studded Blues

I made a visit to Iping Common today in west Sussex, a place I have promised myself I would go to for the last few years. My intentions were to see my first ever Silver Studded Blues. I arrived to see the sun not shining but my hopes remained high. Not knowing where to look I walked a couple of paths without seeing anything. I decided to investigate an area where the Heather was in flower. I immedietly noticed a female 'Blue' and a few seconds later I was able to confirm my first ever SSB, wow. I spent the next 2 hours looking and when the sun did come out, c50 SSB were seen including lots of cracking males. An excellent visit and lots of photos taken. A few are attached.
