Fritillary id please

Sorry to be so rubbish at butterflies

Took this in France a few days ago - I have an idea but need someone to confirm it. I have a few more in addition to this that need a positive id too

Hi John,
I think this is a Marbled Fritillary (Brenthis daphne).

Unfortunately I didn't get a shot of the underside - it was either flying or wingspread like this. I've had a dig a round and I agree with your id.
