BBC - Springwatch

Dear BBC,

I have, as in previous years, much enjoyed the current series of "Springwatch".

I am however increasingly concerned at the lack of content relating to Lepidoptera. This evening's transmission was really the last straw. A marvellous film depicting the wonders of metamorphosis (and featuring the species Inachis io) was abruptly (dammit!, rudely) cut short in order to show us yet more scenes of those blasted badgers! (forgive my language)

This does nothing to allay my fears that there are now menacing mammalist and aviarist tendencies stalking the corridors of power in the realm of BBC wildlife broadcasting.

I hereby register my disapproval in the strongest terms and will withhold payment of my licence fee until this situation is remedied!

Yours....

Mr Angry, Middlesex

Eccles, thanks for giving us yet another brilliant reason for rejecting the word 'reedling'!

OK we did get 3 mins of moths the other night. Buff Tip, Popular Hawk-Moth and a few others. Wish rain would stop so I can finish my moth trap and put it out! Made me want to do it more, but can't!
