Has anyone got a Speckled wood badge yet?
What do I need to do, or where do I need to go, to buy one?
Speckled wood egg on relatively broader leaf, native grass, so I thought that relatively larger instar larvae might camouflage, longways along a "blade" (children running fingers too fast). . August 25th 2023, Lincolnshire

For my memory, it was those life cycle timings, that happened on my late Grandmother Grace's birthday.
When all the car horns, sirens, beeps and whistles had passed, I remembered more from looking back at my fond memories.

Orange-tip butterfly and Speckled wood badge?
I wasn't quite sure who the RSPB were fishing for?

#Black-veined white
"The wing tips of this butterfly badge, did not look very orange compared with species ID. Was that, or was there a complaint?

My son is a pilot with a major airline. It's his birthday next week, and I've got him one of these:

I'm challenging him to wear it on his uniform.

It's a variation of the old stunt of the pilot using a white stick when he visited the passenger cabin.

My son in fact has several thousand hours flying Airbus.
