Hi, can anyone identify this Female Commom Blue type, is it an ABB. ?? Photo taken on Portsdown Hill, Hampshire, 6th. September 2023. Thanks in advance, Mike Smith.

I wouldn't say it was an ab., Mike, just a little unusual in that the blue is predominantly on the hindwings.

Female Common Blues come in a variety of different patterns...gone are the days when most were just a uniform brown with a little blue dusting near the body!
