Three new sightings for me this morning on a trip with my wife Pat, to the coast at Hurst Castle in Hampshire.
Firstly a new butterfly, the Glanville:



Secondly a new moth AND a new finger!!




I'm sure lots of you will be able to identify the moth, but who does the finger belong to??

You're close but not quite right with the moth, it is a species of tiger but not the scarlet.

It's not my hand, but to give a clue, its someone that you all know, well sort of anyway.

I reckon it is Pete's hand and it was a Cream-Spotted Tiger...
I was there on Saturday 26th May and as well as the Glanvilles, saw two CST's in flight. Is that cheating
