Camera recommendations

Hi all, I'm needing to replace my everyday camera - what would people recommend for butterfly photography? Looking for something lightweight, durable and not too complicated, good at both getting photos of constantly fluttering creatures for ID and for quality close-ups where the butterfly is behaving itself, price range £300-£500.
