Long Tailed Blue? Brittany

Post by Deborah »

First ever sighting in a often walked site; heathland, acid soil, gorse and heather. I think this is a long-tailed Blue. Would appreciate confirmation or a better ID. Thanks.

Yes, Deborah, that is a Long-Tailed Blue; a male by the look of it.

Excellent. Thank you. I don’t think they’ve been noted where I am - at least not in the Atlas I’d Brittany Butterflies. It made my day seeing them!
