FOR SALE: THESE WONDERFUL FROHAWK 2 VOLUMES FROM 98 YEARS AGO.
NATURAL HISTORY OF BRITISH BUTTERFLIES (2 VOLS.) - 1924

THESE BOOKS ARE NOW SOLD!
These books (both volumes 1 and 2) are probably the finest works ever published on the natural history of British Butterflies. 1st edition hardbacks with the rare dust-jackets which are complete on spines & mainly otherwise complete apart from top right front of the paper dust-jacket on volume 1 which is missing so reinforced with pale blue card. These beautiful books, which are 98 years old are in lovely clean condition in original publisher’s blue cloth binding with 207 pages in each volume plus a total of 60 full page size plates in full colour showing the utter brilliance of Frohawk’s artistic skills. Both volumes are tightly bound with no inscriptions. These 2 volumes are now scarce & expensive to obtain in decent condition with original dust-jackets. Pemberley Books have similar set for £450 currently! I only have this 1 set so do not miss out if you are interested.
