Firstly a big thank you to Pete for publicising this event (Large Blue open day at a lovely but restricted site) on this excellent web site.
I have received my ticket today!
It is for me plus one other.
My wife has a broken leg, and can't make the slope, so - I have a space for a guest!!!
If you are interested, I have the Saturday 23rd June slot at 11:00
Please E-Mail me at
roger.diver@btopenworld.com
It will just cost you a beer!!!!

I understand that the Sunday visit has been cancelled so they're only doing a Saturday one. Bit of a pain for me as I have a ticket but work on Sayturdays, might bunk off and go anyway as I've never seen a large blue and you only live once.

Do you have a ticket for the Sunday? When I e-mailed them they told me they weren't running a Sunday visit, hence me getting a Saturday one!
If you have access on the Sunday I'd like very much to bunk in with you on your ticket! Could you let me know ASAP. I have a 6 year old that I have to look after on Sundays (she's a delight, but would not take too kindly to a long drive to Somerset complete with a flask and sausage butties). So I think I may have to get her looked after on the Sunday (if you let me onto your ticket, and if the ticket *is* for the Sunday).
Anyway, much appreciated. I await your response. I'm posting this at work at the moment, so will send you an e-mail from home when I return tonight if that's OK....and we can communicate away from the forum, though I'm sure everybody is fascinated about my personal discourse! Hello everybody!

Hang on I've just read your original post, and you *do* have a Saturday one....so I imagine there is no Sunday Visit......so ignore all of that rubbish I've just posted onto the forum, and thanks but I don't need to bunk in your ticket, but will use my own anyways.
I probably will go on the Saturday anyway (I have a 2pm ticket). I am a street musician and Saturday's are my best day, so if I leave mega early (from Sussex) and play in a town nearby ovber the dinnertime, I should be OK.
What towns are nearby?

Hi Roger,
I may seem an unfamiliar member of this forum but wanted to ask if you are still looking for a companion to join you. I live in Tiverton close to the A361.
I am very keen on real ale so you would get a good set of bottles of beer!
Cheers,
Andrew.

No problem - I live in Barnstaple, so will drive close to your door on my way.
Send me an e-mail (address in my first post) and we shall sort it out.
