Glanville Fritillaries

Thanks. Not really what I wanted to hear. I don't think I can get down there until 26th May at the earliest. What chance they'll still be about?
Will the change to less sunny weather slow down emergence and hold some back to the end of the month?

Hi David,

I'm 99.9% sure you'll still see them then. The concept of "past their peak" is really for the photographers who want to see a species at their best! But I'm sure there will be a few stragglers in late May that have recently emerged.
