Caterpillar?

Post by PileORocks »

I’ve found what I believe to be a caterpillar but I’m not too sure what it is? Any ideas?

Hello Pile of Rocks ,
Don,t think your caterpillar is either Butterfly or moth ,but to me looks like a Sawfly (sp;) larvae ,there are lots of British species ,maybe worth
a look on Wikipedia.

I don't think it is a sawfly. Unless it's some other kind of wasp, it's a regular caterpillar.
