DGF???

DGF???

Hi, a lovely trip to Stockbridge Down on Sunday. Came across this frit and I thought DGF though the pics you often see don't seem to look quite like this.
Forgive the photo - was an iPhone at range - it wouldn't let me get too close.

Hi Mark - I think you're correct - I'd say this is a female DGF, which are more heavily marked than the females.

Thanks Pete - was the large white markings on the leading edge of forewing and trailing rear wing were very pronounced.
I also thought female due to the size of the abdomen - my wife didn't appreciate that comment!
